Information WorkReads processes
WorkReads supports email and password, Google and Apple sign-in. It may process your account identifier and email, professional profile and reading preferences, saves, ratings, private takeaways, Thought Partner chats, reading interactions, notification activity, device notification tokens and app reliability information.
We use this information to operate and secure your account, personalise recommendations and your Morning Brief, keep saved knowledge available, deliver notifications you choose, provide support, prevent misuse and improve reliability.
Thought Partner and AI
When you use Thought Partner, WorkReads may send Google Gemini your question, up to four prior messages, bounded context from the WorkReads source you are viewing and relevant professional profile fields. Authentication credentials and your email address are not intended prompt fields.
AI responses can be wrong. Do not include confidential employer information, secrets or sensitive information about another person, and independently verify important decisions.
Service providers and sharing
WorkReads relies on Supabase for account and application data, Google and Apple for sign-in, Google Gemini for Thought Partner when used, Expo for app services and notifications, and the app stores for distribution. Information is shared only as needed to provide, secure and support these functions or when required by law.
WorkReads does not sell personal information and does not use your information for third-party targeted advertising.
Retention and deletion
Thought Partner chats are retained for up to 60 days and limited to the most recent 30 chats per account. Short-lived retry records may remain for up to 72 hours. Profile information, preferences, saved items, ratings and private takeaways remain until you remove them or delete your account.
You can permanently delete your account in the app or follow the external account deletion process. Limited information may remain only where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or backup integrity, and is removed or de-identified when no longer needed.
Your choices
You can update profile and notification choices in the app. For access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection requests, email founder@hoplittlebunny.com. We may verify that the request relates to your account, but we will never ask for your password.
Security, children and changes
WorkReads uses access controls and service-provider safeguards intended to protect account-linked information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. WorkReads is not directed to children under 18.
