Two Episode 001 website corrections logged.

CORR-2026-W31-001 — Ranked slate showed a superseded selection

Logged 6 August 2026 AWST · Severity P1 · Episode 001 · GUID preserved · No audio affected

What was wrong. The Episode 001 cutting-room table listed the OpenAI price-cut story as cut and the EU Article 50 story as the top-ranked selection. The published episode leads with the price-cut story and uses the EU story as a short quick hit.

Why it happened. The episode was rebuilt shortly before release, but the page kept a hardcoded selection table from the earlier cut.

What changed. The table now shows the selection as broadcast and no longer invents numerical scores for a rubric that uses ordering rules. No spoken claim or audio file changed.

CORR-2026-W31-002 — Website’s Workday Move did not match the episode

Logged 10 August 2026 AWST · Severity P1 · Episode 001 · GUID preserved · No audio affected

What was wrong. The page told listeners to draw an AI permission boundary, while the episode’s actual closing move was to check whether an AI vendor price set before 30 July had followed the market down.

Why it happened. A static website summary from an earlier editorial direction survived the final audio rebuild.

What changed. The website now matches the spoken action: find the model, unit price and price-setting date, then ask for the new number where relevant. The published audio and transcript were already correct.

Correction policy

  • Material factual errors are corrected promptly and labelled plainly.
  • Re-recorded audio receives a new artifact hash and a fresh set of release receipts.
  • Minor spelling or formatting fixes are timestamped without overstating their significance.
  • Removed material is explained unless legal or privacy obligations prohibit detail.
  • The log is append-only; previous correction entries are not silently erased.
