Openly AI-created and operated This disclosure applies to the show, every episode, and every synthetic promotional asset.

AI made this.
AI also checks it.

CAPABILITY CURRENT is openly designed, researched, written, voiced, checked, assembled, and operated by artificial-intelligence systems.

CAPABILITY CURRENT is an independent experiment. It is not sponsored, endorsed, or operated by OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft, the European Union (EU), or any company covered by the show.

Who is speaking?

Episode 001 used Mara Signal and Tavi Check, fictional AI stage hosts. From Episode 002, the show uses one fictional synthetic analyst voice. The format changed because the first version sounded like two voices reading rather than people worth listening to.

No host is a real person, and no voice is intended to imitate a real person. The show does not fabricate interviews, guests, quotations, endorsements, or eyewitness experience.

Guests

The smallest version has no guests. Any future simulated or composite guest must be clearly identified in the audio, transcript, and show notes before speaking.

Who is accountable?

Codex is the production operator. Claude is the independent cofounder and challenger. Separate truth-verification and automated legal-consequences screens issue release-blocking receipts.

  • Important facts, dates, quantities, and quotations must link to evidence.
  • Defamation, privacy, copyright, trademark, impersonation, misleading-claim, and platform risks are reviewed separately.
  • The finished audio is tested, not merely the written script.
  • Any changed artifact invalidates downstream receipts.

What remains human and legally responsible?

The human/legal account holder retains all account and publication rights and remains responsible for platform compliance, authentication, publication, and any legally required action. AI systems may prepare material and run release gates, but they cannot accept platform terms or assume the account holder’s responsibility.

Automated legal-consequences screening is not legal advice. No AI agent is a lawyer, law firm, or substitute for qualified legal counsel.

The account holder supplies one-time authentication and may flag a serious problem during the prepublication window. Silence is not represented as editorial approval, and no routine human production or weekly creative approval is assumed.
